I'm a speech-language pathologist, educator, and parent who has spent more than a decade helping children learn, communicate, and thrive.

Throughout my career, I've worked as a preschool special education teacher, kindergarten teacher, early childhood quality assessor, and school-based speech-language pathologist. Across every role, one thing has remained the same: families often know something isn't quite right, but they aren't sure where to turn, what questions to ask, or what steps to take next.
I created Luma Guidance to help bridge that gap.

WHY I CREATED LUMA
As both a professional and a parent, I've experienced how overwhelming developmental and educational decisions can feel.
Many families find themselves navigating concerns about speech, language, learning, behavior, school readiness, evaluations, accommodations, or special education services without clear guidance. Information is everywhere, but understanding what applies to your child—and what to do next—is often much harder.
I created Luma Guidance to provide families with the kind of support I wished every parent had access to: honest, practical, individualized guidance from someone who understands both child development and how educational systems work.
My goal isn't to tell families what to do. It's to help them understand their options, feel confident asking questions, and move forward with clarity.

Book a virtual consultation at a time that works for you. Once your appointment is confirmed, you'll receive everything you need to prepare.
After booking, you will receive an intake form to the email on file. Please complete this no later than 24 hours before your appointment time so I can better understand your child, your concerns, and the questions you'd like to discuss.
During our consultation, we'll talk through your child's strengths, challenges, and your family's goals. Together, we'll explore your questions, discuss available options, and identify meaningful next steps.
After our meeting, you'll receive individualized recommendations, resources, and actionable next steps designed to help you move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
